In a world where it feels like time and resources are too scarce to enjoy and finance your time in old age, stress and uncertainty are the order of the day.
Wouldn’t it be absolutely liberating to find ways to feel secure and stable?
I don’t think I’m alone when I say: yes, of course!
But what really provides us with security?
Is it constantly taking action and running through life, or does true security lie in building up sound knowledge, gaining experience and taking targeted action?
I sometimes have the feeling that building up knowledge and experience is somehow going out of fashion. It’s even seen as a waste of time.
What’s more, we are constantly being told that it’s good to be active. To start things, to think big, etc.
But how about thinking in depth and breadth instead and allowing great things to happen as a result?
I know that seems challenging, because most of us haven’t learned to do that.
Being present in the moment. Carpe Diem, blabliblu….
I know – totally stupid. That’s far too vague, far too passive. No, that’s not how it works. That’s no way to become a millionaire.
Why does it feel like everyone wants to become a millionaire these days (especially on social media)?
Because of safety?
Really? For many, the more they have achieved, the more driven uncertainty grows. Now there is not only a lot to achieve, but also a lot to lose.
And the recipe is still the same. RUN!
For many people, it may seem obvious at first that constant activity and running from one appointment to the next provides a sense of security.
Continuous movement and the pursuit of goals can help you feel alive and find meaning in what you do.
This is important, but this approach also carries risks.
The constant pace and hectic pace can lead to us feeling overwhelmed, losing ourselves and ultimately reaching our limits.
The question is whether a different approach can also lead to the goal of security and financial freedom?
Building up sound (plus practical) knowledge, gaining experience and taking targeted action connects me as an essential provider of benefits with the outside world. Exponential potential can arise from this connection. Elementary added value is requested by the outside world and something new can emerge.
By dealing with relevant topics, learning new skills and reflecting on past experiences, we can build a solid foundation that gives us stability in difficult times.
This kind of security is based on a deeper understanding of ourselves and our environment, which enables us to make informed decisions and deal with challenges with confidence.
Finding the ideal balance between movement and knowledge can be a challenge. It requires self-reflection, flexibility and a willingness to embrace new paths. A trauma-based hypnosystemic coaching approach can support this by creating space to deal with personal traumas and fears and helping to develop new perspectives.
Ultimately, it is important to recognize that safety is a multi-layered concept that comes not only from external actions or knowledge acquisition, but also from a deep trust in oneself and one’s ability to deal with life’s challenges.
By both actively moving and building up sound knowledge, we can experience self-efficacy and achieve a holistic security that strengthens and supports us in all situations in life.
If you would like to find out more about my hypnosystemic and leadership coaching or would like to book an appointment for a non-binding initial consultation, don’t hesitate. It’s very simple!
I look forward to meeting you!
