Now that spring is here, they are increasingly to be found in plant centres and DIY stores.
The hobby gardeners.
The trolleys are full of all kinds of useful things to loosen up the soil, enrich it and prepare it for valuable plant and seed material. Flowers and shrubs as far as the eye can see.
The hibernation in the garden is over.
Now everything needs to be fresh and replanted so that the garden soon looks beautiful and well-tended again.
A garden like this also says a lot about the owner. Doesn’t it?
I took the opportunity to ask myself the question: How does it actually work? Does the cultivated flower that is planted in the bed displace the weed, or does the weed, whose roots are already in the soil, displace the flower?
Who has the right to stay and bloom in this garden? I would say that the gardener decides who is allowed to prevail. With their watchful eye and courageous intervention, they will ensure that the weeds are weeded out and the flowers can continue to bloom. They ensure good soil and optimum light so that even delicate little plants can grow into large, strong flowers.
But what does this look like in the ‘garden of thoughts’?
How mindful and aware are you when it comes to removing weeds in the form of negative or judgemental thoughts about yourself, others or life?
How careful are you with positive, empowering thoughts and feedback? Do you allow them to flourish and grow in well-prepared soil of trust and self-love? Are you careful enough to protect them so that they are not overgrown by the weeds of negative thoughts or the hail of an argument?
Just as ornamental flowers in the garden often need special care, so do positive, self-empowering thoughts.
Nurture and care for them and keep them in safe shelter, even if there is a thunderstorm. Keep an eye on the weeds that grow inconspicuously. Judgemental and negative thoughts keep coming back – like weeds – until you find their root and pull them out.
Give the bright and strengthening thoughts the opportunity to unfold so that only beautiful, delicate and at the same time strong colourful flowers bloom in your garden of thoughts. In colours and patterns that make you and your personality shine in the most beautiful way.
